The latest news about the effects of the Corona virus outbreak on sports around the world:
The Paris Masters tennis tournament will be held without an audience next week as France enters its second lockdown stage amid the coronavirus pandemic.
French President Emmanuel Macron said the national lockdown will start at midnight and will last until at least December 1.
Initially, the indoor championship at the Bercy Arena in Paris from 2 to 8 November was allowed to receive 1,000 fans for the daytime sessions and none of them were allowed at night. This was the same number of fans allowed every day at the French Open.
The French Tennis Federation said fans would receive a refund for their tickets.
