Before a breezy day, early Sunday morning frosts.
Jacksonville, Florida – Saturday: Cool and active are the words of the day. Temperatures will remain in the 1950s today with westerly winds breezing with gusts up to 20-30 mph after yesterday’s cold front. Good news, we stay dry most of the day, but for those who run, you might experience strong winds when running westward.
Sunday: Cold start, temperatures will be below 30 before dawn, creating some frosts especially in the interior and regions across southeast Georgia. The sky begins to be clear in the afternoon as the sunrise returns and the winds relax a little.
Martin Luther King Day: Sunny skies, monsoon temperatures, high pressure, and nice weather.
next week: The zone pattern of jet stream allows for a fairly calm week. In fact, the next chance of precipitation does not arrive until Thursday or Friday, and potential cover for that is still under discussion. The temperate weather pattern will be accompanied by a gradual warm-up until the 1970s by Thursday.
